Our poster represents our song by providing the audience a sense of loneness and isolation. The inside of the barn looking out into the field in the background represents those feelings. By desaturation of color and hue of browns, reds and blacks, darkening the brightness and increasing the contrast gives the image a warn, vintage, country appearance. I photoshopped some major props that will be represented in our music video, such as the cowgirl boots, cowgirl hat, and the dried out weary flowers. The cowgirl boots and hat signifies the female country singer that will be the main character of the video. Where as the flowers represent a loss of love or heart break. I didn't show too much of the outside (field) I still wanted to represent it by having the window in the background containing cool colors of blues and greens as we will do some shooting outside, majority will be inside the barn. I added a wooden sign with text hanging on the barrel to represent the bands name as well as the song title on the window with big dark red stencil like typeface, which gives it more of a country feel.
Editor Notes: As for the editing we will be focusing on deep saturated colors such as browns, reds, and blacks; cool colors such as blues and greens to portray loneness, sadness and isolation. The video will have a slow rhythm to it as it follows the slow acoustic song. There will be some direct cuts but also some fading and dissolving transitions as well. I plan to add a title at the beginning in the bottom left hand corner fading into the next scene. But also at the end of the video I will also add title as well as the crew members names and roles.
